In the summer of 2023, August Sklar and John Grund taught a garden sculpture workshop to local elementary school children, in the Abrons Art Center Garden. This free course expanded the function of the Abrons garden, that August and John initiated in 2020, and focused on teaching about local ecologies and making artwork from and for the garden.
